Abstract
Introduction: urticaria is a common skin disorder. It has a known negative impact on quality of life. However, the pathogenesis is not clearly understood. It can be classified as chronic and acute according to duration or as spontaneous and inducible according to triggers. Urticarial vasculitis is one of the mimeckers. The course is highly variable and difficult to predict. I have joined the Urticaria clinic in Cairo hospital of dermatology & venereology "Al-haud Al-marsoud" since late 2020. I and my colleagues have collected some experiences that I would like to share with the audience. Recent recommendations and new insights in pathogenesis would be reviewed.
