Prof. Colgan is actively involved in the promotion of vascular medicine in Ireland through European links. Graduated from Trinity College and trained in Vascular Medicine both in Dublin and Springfield, Illinois. MD completed in Trinity and MBA in UCD. Has been actively involved in research with over 100 publications and several book chapters. Completed a vascular fellowship in SIU, Springfield, Illinois where she trained in vascular ultrasound with Prof. David Sumner, one of the most respected doctors in this area of medicine.
