Abstract
Autosomal recessive woolly hair /hypotrichosis ARWH/H is a rare non syndromic hair abnormality characterized by sparse, short and curly hair. we report a case of 5year old girl from consanguineous parents, who present with ARWH/H since birth. dermoscopic finding showed thin sparse hair. Genetic testing showed homozygous mutation in LPAR6 gene.
Biography
Dr. Osama Alsharif attained board certifications in dermatology from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and the Arab Board . He successfully completed clinical fellowships in Pediatric Dermatology at the University of Miami Hospital (USA) and Great Ormond Street Hospital (UK). With over 15 years of experience, he has contributed to the field of dermatology through multiple publications.
