Inverted-F, safe and optimized protocol for collagen biostimulators
Abstract
The Inverted-F was born as a technique and became a philosophy when we think about the correct use of collagen biostimulators and their associations. It came to optimize the use of powerful biostimulators, especially in patients who want a refined aesthetic result, with improvement in facial curves (Ogee curve), lifting in the temporal and zygomatic region, preserving areas of hyperdynamic muscular movement, and obeying the dynamics of facial retention ligaments. The inverted-F is a technique that enhances facial lifting, one of the greatest benefits of collagen bio-stimulators. The appointment provides peace of mind for the professional, as they generate rejuvenating effects, reducing the risk of rounding of the face and the entire procedure is carried out with just two or three pertuits (holes in the skin for the cannula to enter). Collagen biostimulators are a great treatment option for facial rejuvenation, given their ability to stimulate the formation of new collagen through a local inflammatory process. This mechanism of action was investigated by Goldberg and collaborators (2013), Yutskovska, Kogan and Leshunov (2014), and Kim and Abel (2013), all of whom confirmed this human tissue response. The Inverted-F is a correct and safe philosophy, which helps and teaches the professional to achieve safer and more lasting results, as it respects biology, anatomy and facial muscle dynamics
